The greens were converted to MiniVerde Ultradwarf Bermudagrass in August and the course was reopened for play on   October 8, 2011.  Due to extreme heat, many courses in the south are converting to this type of grass.  Tuscarora is proud to be one of the first courses in the area to offer this unique putting surface.
