How Do I Join Tuscarora?
There are 5 membership classifications at Tuscarora: Full, Junior, Senior, Non-Resident and Social. All memberships are required to go through the same application process. A prospective member is required to have a member sponsor and two letters of reference from members in good standing. The sponsor will pick up the application and deliver it to you for you to fill out. The sponsor will also help attain the two letters of reference.
The completed application and reference letters will need to be returned to the business office at Tuscarora with a check, credit card or cash for the current initiation fee, application fee and first month’s dues. Upon receipt of the application and fees the general manager will schedule a membership interview with you. He will get to know you and your family better as well as show you the facility. After this interview the application will be delivered to the Board of Directors on the third Monday of the month.
Once elected, you and your family (family includes you, your spouse, and dependents as designated on your tax return) will receive membership cards and a set of club rules. The dues paid with your application will be applied to the next month thus allowing you to use the club for the rest of the current month for no charge. Welcome to Tuscarora Country Club!
Full Membership – This membership gives everyone in your family, access to all the facilities of Tuscarora including private cart and voting rights.
Junior Membership – This membership is available to anyone between the age of 21 and 29. This membership gives everyone in your family, access to all the facilities of Tuscarora, but this membership does not give you private cart or voting rights. However, the dues are slightly less than the full membership.
Senior Membership – This membership is available to anyone over the age of 62. This membership gives everyone in your family, access to all the facilities of Tuscarora including private cart and voting rights. However, this membership only grants access to the golf course Monday thru Friday and for tournaments. Your use of the golf course would be restricted during weekends and designated holidays . Dues for this membership are reduced significantly from full membership.
Recreational Membership – This membership allow you and your family access to all facilities at Tuscarora except the golf course and private cart facility. You also do not have voting rights with this membership. The dues for this membership are significantly reduced as compared to the full membership.
Non-Resident Membership – This membership is available to you if your primary residence and business is 40 nautical miles away from Tuscarora. This membership gives everyone in your family, access to all the facilities of Tuscarora, but this membership does not give you private cart or voting rights.
